Blocksy
Blocksy is a fast, modern WordPress theme with a visual header and footer builder inside the Customizer, so those two areas are designed rather than configured.
In plain English
Most themes give you a handful of header options in a settings screen. Blocksy gives you a grid with three rows and drop zones, and you drag the logo, the menu, a button or a search field into whichever cell you want.
The footer works the same way, in columns you fill with widget areas. Everything else on the site is left to your page builder.
Why it matters
It solves the part page builders are worst at without Pro licences: a proper header and footer that apply site wide and stay editable by whoever owns the site afterwards.
It is also unusually light. A Blocksy site with Elementor loads less than most theme and builder combinations, because the theme is not duplicating what the builder already does.

Let the Customizer win
If you add custom CSS for the header, write it so the Customizer can still override it. Otherwise you will change a colour there, see nothing happen, and go looking for a bug that is really your own stylesheet.
